CONROE, TX -- Multi-County Crime Stoppers is working with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Homicide/ Violent Crimes unit in seeking information about a homicide on Bitter Root Drive in Conroe, Texas.

On November 1, 2023, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 20100 block of Bitter Root Drive in reference to an assault with a firearm call. The victim in this case has been identified as 25-year-old male Vyshawn Johnson of California who was later pronounced deceased at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office, and the family of Mr. Johnson, are requesting the community’s help with identifying the suspect responsible for this murder.

Anyone providing information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect can earn up to an $11,000 CA$H reward. You will also be helping bring closure to the family impacted by this criminals behavior! Tips must come through Crime Stoppers to be eligible for rewards.
