VFW Post 12223 Holds Fundraiser

MONTGOMERY, TX -- Montgomery’s own VFW Post 12223, held a Fish Fry Fundraiser at the Historic Montgomery Community Building this past Saturday. It was a great time to get to know the citizens of Montgomery, to recruit new members, and to fundraise for a future post home. Funds raised also go to teaching Patriotism in local schools, pay dues for the post's oldest Veterans, and aiding any Veterans in need of assistance in the Montgomery post’s area of operation in Montgomery, Willis, and New Waverly.

Many thanks go out to the volunteers who assisted the VFW, including Eva Rains of the Montgomery Historical Society and UDC.
