MONTGOMERY, TX -- In a strategic and expansionary move, SVN | J. Beard Real Estate has launched a specialized land division with a satellite office in Montgomery, TX, at 16955 Walden Rd., suite 121. Leading the new Land Advisory Team are recent additions Joe Burke and Robert Whitaker.

In their roles as Senior Advisors and Team Leaders, Burke and Whitaker will serve and promote the emerging markets of Central East Texas. Utilizing their experience, expert market knowledge, and wide range of resources they will assist landowners by presenting comprehensive strategies and tailor-made solutions for their land portfolios.

Joe Burke specializes in the acquisition and disposition of land in emerging markets. He provides objective counsel to landowners, valuation, negotiations, key entitlement steps, marketing and positioning for disposition and development, tax strategy, as well as forming joint ventures and development agreements. Burke is a retired Marine Corps Officer, having served 20 years building and leading teams.

Robert Whitaker is a renowned figure in Greater Houston’s real estate scene, possessing several decades of experience in land brokerage and development. Leveraging his extensive experience with large land tracts, he specializes in the appraisal and disposition of investment acreage and farm and ranch property. Whitaker capitalizes on his deep roots in the Greater Houston area to provide his clients with expert market knowledge and exclusive opportunities.
