Veteran of The Week - Curtis Cole

MONTGOMERY, TX -- This week’s Veteran is Curtis Cole, who served in the United States Marine Corps from 1991-1996.

Curtis was an Aviation Radar Repairman, stationed at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, at Twentynine Palms, California, near the Joshua Tree National Park. Besides radar repair, the highlight of Curtis’ career at 29 Palms, was the June 28, 1992, 7.3 Landers earthquake that struck just northwest of the Marine base. Curtis was devastated that the Yucca Lanes Bowling Center in Landers, which was heavily damaged during the quake, so instead of bowling he started lifting weights, and he has some ginormous guns that he continues to maintain to this day. Cole also felt the 1994 Northridge earthquake, which was 6.7 on the Richter Scale, but he wasn’t phased. After he separated from the Marine Corps, Curtis did like any other future Artificial Intelligence genius does, he went to work for Radio Shack. From there he went into data cabling, then networking, and management. He now works for an A.I. firm that sells products to governments around The World..
