SHENANDOAH, TX -- On May 30, 2025 at approximately 11:40 pm, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a white late model Jaguar in South Montgomery County. During the traffic stop, the driver of the Jaguar, a 53 year old white male, fled the scene and a second Deputy engaged in a pursuit, assisted by Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The suspect exited the vehicle with a firearm, and the deputy fired multiple shots, striking the suspect. Additional units arrived on scene and provided emergency medical treatment to the suspect, who was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical but stable condition.
