The Woodlands High School Color Guard wins bronze at WGI Guard Championships in Ohio

THE WOODLANDS, TX – With flags, rifles, swords, and bodies flying through the air, The Woodlands High School Color Guard recently won the bronze medal for the WGI (Winter Guard International) Championships in Dayton, Ohio. Not only was their ranking the highest score ever for a Texas team (94.820), but they were also the only scholastic guard team to place in the top three.
The TWHS World Guard varsity team had previously won first place for their performance of their routine The Light You Cannot See at the Texas state competition under the guidance of coach Cynthia Robbins.
With this significant achievement behind them, the squad is already looking forward to breaking their own records in the next season.
