HS Baseball: Squads Celebrate the Accomplishments of their Players by Crowning All-District Athletes

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- After a gauntlet of a season left the teams of 13-6A dusted and tired, the coaches have all come together to decide their players' positions in the All-District lineup.

The talent from top-to-bottom throughout the district left a lot of tough decisions, but deserving names were positioned where they fit best.

Coach of the Year:

Newcomer of the Year:

Utility Player of the Year:

A district-leading seven representatives from Oak Ridge highlight the team’s success throughout the district run, earning the team the District Championship.

A tough Woodlands squad that battled through adversity throughout the year saw five players receive high honors, including Freshman Cash Clayton earning the title of Newcomer of the Year.

The District Runner-Up Willis Wildkats made it deeper in the postseason than any other 13-6A squad, and the evidence for their success is found in their stout pitching. Both Maddox Keo and Austin Gaskins earned 1st Team recognition for their steady presence on the mound that guided the team to the Regional Quarterfinals.
