W.G. Jones State Forest is now re-opened for public use

CONROE, TX -- Thanks to the hard work of Texas A&M Forest Service Staff and assistance from the Conroe Fire Department, we've cleared our major trails that were impacted by Hurricane Beryl. Note, while the forest may be open, several foot paths remain closed due to damage and hazards. These foot-trails will be cleared and re-opened in the coming weeks. Nevertheless, we ask that you use caution when visiting the forest.
