Jack Ingram has been added to The Woodlands 50th Anniversary Concert, joins Lyle Lovett and Hayes Carll
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Howard Hughes Holdings, Inc.has announced that Woodlands native Jack Ingram will join previously announced Lyle Lovett and his Large Band and Hayes Carll as a headliner for The Woodlands 50th Anniversary Concert, taking place on Friday, October 18 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in honor of the Township’s golden jubilee.
Ingram is an American country music artist who has released eleven studio albums, one extended play, six live albums, and 19 singles. His single Wherever You Are hit number one on the Billboard country charts in late 2005, followed by six other songs that hit the country Top 40 with Love You, Lips of an Angel, Measure of a Man, Maybe She'll Get Lonely, That’s a Man, and Barefoot and Crazy.
“We are honored to present The Woodlands 50th Anniversary Concert, an iconic event commemorating half a century of community. This occasion will be made memorable with performances by Lyle Lovett, Hayes Carll and now Jack Ingram, each of whom has personal connections to The Woodlands. Their performances will add a unique and heartfelt touch to our anniversary celebration,” said Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region for Howard Hughes, in a statement. “As we reflect on the past five decades, we take pride in our role in the development and continued success of The Woodlands. The free anniversary concert is one of many events planned for a weeklong celebration, leading up to the 50th anniversary of the award-winning master planned community. Howard Hughes and The Woodlands Township have partnered on the year-long celebration, and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a partner on the concert.
