Three-Day Program Promises Only Good News!

HOUSTON, TX -- In a world where bad news endlessly streams on social media, TV, and radio, a three-day live event open to the public will deliver only good news!

One of the largest convention organizations in the world returns one more time to Rosenberg, Texas, with a much-anticipated motivational program to comfort and encourage the public. As a result of Hurricane Beryl, one convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses was postponed until this upcoming weekend. Despite the uncertainty of an unstable weather pattern, thousands are eager to attend.

Jehovah’s Witnesses will present their 2024 “Declare the Good News!” convention the weekend of August 30, 2024—September 1, 2024. This free event is the last of a series of 15 conventions that were expected to draw more than 46,000 attendees to the city—fueling the city’s economy with local spending at stores, hotels, and restaurants.

“Once again, we will be filling the local hotels and restaurants in the Rosenberg area as we attend our three-day conventions,” said Jose Rosas, local spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses. “These conventions are a highlight of the year for thousands of people. This year's convention will not just offer the opportunity for attendees to enjoy time with friends and family, but more importantly it will allow them to benefit from the good news that its theme will feature.”

Saturday spotlights a baptism of candidates from surrounding communities, while a two-part video feature will captivate the audience on Friday and Saturday mornings. Prior to each convention, local congregations will engage in a campaign to invite community members to this free event.

Last year, nearly 13 million people attended more than 6,000 three-day conventions worldwide.
