9/11 services and remembrances in The Woodlands area
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The 23rd anniversary of the tragedy that befell the nation on September 11, 2001 takes place this week, and there are some places where you can go to memorialize, commemorate, and remember the event. Here are three in particular:
Patriot Day of Remembrance – The Woodlands Township
The Woodlands Fire Department Central Station

7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Please join The Woodlands Township for a ceremony to honor the brave men and women who tragically lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

9/11 Service of Remembrance, Reflection and Renewal
The Woodlands Methodist Church

12:00 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday, September 11th at noon in Robb Chapel for a Service of Remembrance, Reflection and Renewal as we commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 9/11 attacks. We will draw near to God in a time of worship, reflection and prayer as we remember those who lost their lives as well as those who responded so heroically both on our shores and abroad.

Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission

The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission presents a Patriot Day commemoration. It has been 23 years since the terrorist attacks that killed 2,977 of our fellow citizens. We will observe and have a moment of silence to honor those lost. We will never forget.
