Waste Connections partners with Montgomery County Food Bank for Holiday Helpings Food and Funds Drive

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Waste Connections has announced that it is presenting the annual Holiday Helpings Food and Funds Drive benefiting the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Individuals, businesses, schools, and organizations are encouraged to participate and join the fight against hunger this holiday season. With the high need for food assistance in Montgomery County, the community’s involvement is more critical than ever to ensure no family goes hungry.

For the Funds Drive, interested parties can host a Donation Plate Fundraiser. Participants will receive Donation Plate cards featuring a QR code, allowing their customers, employees, and partners to easily make donations directly to the Food Bank. Donors can then fill out their donation card to be displayed on the host’s windows, entryway, walls, Christmas tree, and more.

The other option is to host a Food Drive. By collecting the food bank’s most needed food items, people can help fight hunger for countless children, seniors, and families in need in Montgomery County. To defray expenses and maximize limited resources for the greatest impact on hunger relief, Montgomery County Food Bank will not be providing food drive boxes for pickup this year.
