No Trash and Recycling Services on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township reminds residents that there will be no trash and recycling services on Christmas Day, December 25, and New Year’s Day, January 1.

To accommodate these holidays, trash and recycling collection will operate on a modified schedule:

• Wednesday service will move to Thursday.

• Thursday service will move to Friday.

• Friday service will move to Saturday.

Additionally, The Woodlands Recycling Center, located at 5204 Research Forest Drive, will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The center will reopen on the following Saturdays during regular business hours.

Please note that the only holidays impacting waste collection services in The Woodlands are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
