THE WOODLANDS, TX -- In January 2025, detectives from Constable Ryan Gable’s Children’s Safe Harbor unit were alerted to a case involving a 6-month-old infant at Texas Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands, who had a broken arm that may have been caused by abuse. Detectives from Pct. 3 promptly arrived at the hospital and a nearby home to initiate an investigation.

After conducting a comprehensive inquiry that involved interviews and examining relevant evidence, Pct. 3 detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Ty David Carroll, a resident of Shenandoah, Texas, on the charge of Injury to a Child, classified as a second-degree felony. Carroll was later apprehended and booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

Constable Ryan Gable and his dedicated team remain vigilant in pursuing justice for children who have suffered abuse.
