The Woodlands Township Hosts Memorial Day Tribute

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township invites residents to the Memorial Day in The Woodlands Tribute!

When: Sunday, May 25, 2025
Where: Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive
Time: 5 to 9 p.m.

The Sunday event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving our country. The event begins with a Memorial Day ceremony honoring fallen service members, followed by live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a fireworks display choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. A care package drop-off booth will be available onsite to accept donations of recommended items to be shipped to the troops. A list of recommended items is available online. Concessions will be available for purchase.

EVENT SCHEDULE

5 p.m. Welcome and National Anthem
5:10 p.m. Live Music by Nervous Rex (Variety)
7 p.m. Keynote Speaker, Lieutenant Colonel Rais Sanchez and AUSA Houston Honor Your Hero Ceremony*
7:45 p.m. Live Music by Nervous Rex (Variety)
8:55 p.m. Fireworks**

*Presented by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Houston, this meaningful ceremony honors individuals entering the United States military. Attendees will witness the official swear-in, marking the beginning of a life committed to service and sacrifice for our nation and communities.

PARKING
Free parking, generously donated by Timberloch, Inc., will be available at the orange, yellow, blue and white lots at 2002 Timberloch Place. Other designated parking areas include:

• Parking lot located at 9669 Grogan's Mill Road
• 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at the corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive)
• Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court)
• Surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place

Please note: Event parking is strictly prohibited in Market Street and the South Regional Library.

Towing will be enforced.

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
