THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The robotics program at All Nations Community School celebrated success this season, sending two competitive teams—one from elementary and one from high school—to the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship, a premier global competition. Over 50 countries participated in the World Championship throughout the first half of May in Dallas, Texas, with thousands of students taking part in division tournaments for all grade levels.

Fifth Consecutive Season ANCS Teams Qualify for VEX World Championship

In total, All Nations competitive robotics teams participated in 12 local and regional tournaments this school year. This is the fifth consecutive season that teams from All Nations have qualified for the World Championship.

This year’s qualifying elementary team, “Pokémon Masters,” was composed of three 1st graders and one 2nd grader. Team members Bo, Sam, Maddox and Garyson were the youngest team at the VEX IQ World Championship this year, often competing against students nearly twice their age.

In addition to finishing 22nd overall in their Division, Pokémon Masters won 3rd place in the Championship-wide Costume Design Contest.

All Nations STEM Coordination Stephen Michalik states, “Pokémon Masters’ qualification for Worlds is a testament to the power of early STEM education and the confidence that can be built through hands-on learning.”

High school team “Order 66” also earned a spot at the VEX VRC World Championship, demonstrating advanced skills in coding, engineering design, and strategic thinking. This is the second year that Order 66, comprised of members Scott and Caden, has qualified for competition at the World level. Order 66 finished 20th in their Division.

By placing in the top quartile in their Divisions at the World Championship, Order 66 and Pokémon Masters ranked in the top 1.9% and 2.5% of VEX robotics teams worldwide at their respective competition levels within the VEX league.

All Nations Community School, an independent private school offering prekindergarten (age 3) through High School, offers Dual Immersion Spanish and has been approved by the International Baccalaureate as a Candidate School* for both the Diploma Programme (DP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP). This means All Nations is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that All Nations believes is important for our students.

All Nations had their final IB verification visit on May 12-13 for the Diploma Programme candidacy process and is now awaiting news on authorization over the summer. All Nations accepts applications for rolling admissions as space permits. Interested families may request a tour or apply online at allnationscs.org/whoweare.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org
