Precinct 3 Announces Upcoming Rayford Road Improvement Project

SPRING, TX -- Montgomery County Precinct 3 will begin an asphalt pavement construction and restriping project on Rayford Road, just west of the intersection with East Benders Landing Boulevard, starting Thursday, May 29, 2025.

The planned improvements will widen the roadway approximately 240 feet past the intersection to accommodate a new merge lane for vehicles traveling through the intersection. This project aims to enhance traffic flow and improve safety for drivers entering Rayford Road from Benders Landing Estates.

As part of the project, restriping will be implemented to allow two vehicles to approach the Rayford-East Benders Landing intersection simultaneously, with designated right/through and left/through lanes. After passing through the intersection, vehicles will merge into a single lane.

Motorists are advised to expect minor delays and detours during the construction period. Precinct 3 appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these necessary improvements are made to support growing traffic demands and ensure safer travel in the area.
