Interfaith Community Clinic to Host Annual Women Empowering Women Luncheon Presented by Waste Connections and The Huntsman Family Foundation
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Interfaith Community Clinic is excited to announce that the annual Women Empowering Women Luncheon, benefiting Interfaith Community Clinic, will be presented by Waste Connections and The Huntsman Family Foundation. The Southern Soirée themed luncheon will take place on April 9th at The Peach Orchard and will feature a delicious lunch provided by Truluck’s. This inspiring afternoon will bring together community leaders, healthcare professionals, and supporters for an event dedicated to education, encouragement, and empowerment, while raising critical funds for Interfaith Community Clinic and the patients it serves.
This year’s luncheon will feature a Women’s Health and Wellness Panel addressing some of the most pressing issues facing women today. Topics will include common medical concerns, debunking health myths, nutrition guidance, hormonal balance, and important wellness issues impacting women at every stage of life.
This dynamic discussion will be led by moderator Dr. Adrienne Blessing and feature panelists including Dr. Anita Gill, MD, FAAD, The Gill Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology; Dr. Loren Rourke, MD, MHCM, FACS, Woodlands Breast Care; Dr. Cassandra K. Schakett, MD, Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates; and Lauren Lococo, Nutritionist and Personal Trainer.
The luncheon will spark meaningful conversations while raising vital funds and awareness for Interfaith Community Clinic, the only charity clinic serving all of Montgomery County’s uninsured and underinsured individuals. This special event is made possible by a dedicated committee of passionate women whose time, talent, and heart for the clinic help bring it to life.
“This year is especially meaningful as we prepare to celebrate the Interfaith Community Clinic’s 30th anniversary this Fall. For three decades, the clinic has served thousands of individuals and families by providing access to quality healthcare, preventative services, and vital medical and counseling resources for neighbors in need throughout Montgomery County,” shared Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith Community Clinic.
The Women Empowering Women Luncheon continues to serve as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when women come together to support, uplift, and inspire one another.
