Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers Welcomes Dr. Matthew Cowley, D.C., to The Woodlands Location

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Houston Spine & Rehabilitation Centers is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Matthew Cowley, D.C., to its team of providers at the Woodlands location, beginning July 1, 2025. Dr. Cowley brings a unique blend of chiropractic expertise, sports performance care, and advanced muscle integration techniques to the clinic, enhancing the center’s comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal health.

With a background in both athletic performance and clinical care, Dr. Cowley is passionate about helping patients restore balance, optimize movement, and achieve long-term, pain-free living. He is an AMIT (Advanced Muscle Integration Technique) Certified Provider, offering cutting-edge care to correct muscle inhibition, reduce compensation patterns, and improve overall function—a technique especially beneficial for athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from injury.

Dr. Cowley holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah, and an Entrepreneurship Certificate from the David Eccles School of Business. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Buhler Athletic Injuries and Human Performance Clinic, focusing on injury rehabilitation and performance enhancement.

A former collegiate athlete and tennis coach, Dr. Cowley is fluent in both English and Spanish and is known for his ability to connect with patients and guide them through their wellness journey. His care philosophy is summed up by his favorite quote:
