Vehicle Fire in Creekside Park Quickly Contained by Fire Crews
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Shortly after 6:00 PM this evening, The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) responded to reports of a vehicle fire following a single-vehicle crash on Timarron Drive near Greenprint Circle in the Village of Creekside Park.
Callers to 911 reported that an SUV had left the roadway, collided with several trees, and subsequently caught fire. Engine 107 was the first unit to arrive on scene and confirmed that the vehicle was fully involved in flames. Fortunately, all occupants had safely exited the vehicle prior to the fire department’s arrival.
Medics from Harris County ESD 11 Mobile Healthcare assessed the occupants at the scene. All individuals involved declined transport to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, led by Constable Mark Herman. The Woodlands Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Spring Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, and the fire was quickly brought under control.
