Memorial Hermann Auxiliary Honors Junior Volunteers with $30K+ in Scholarships

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Each year, the Auxiliary at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center awards its graduating Junior Volunteers with a banquet and college scholarships. This year, a total of $30,500 was awarded to 18 graduating high school seniors, each who served in the hospital’s Junior Volunteer Program since the end of their sophomore year.

The scholarships ranged from $1,000 to $4,000 each, with funding raised through the hospital’s Gift Shop sales and other Auxiliary-sponsored events on the campus. The graduating students represent the following public and private high schools:

  • Academy of Engineering and Science at Oak Ridge High School
  • College Park High School
  • Concordia Lutheran High School
  • Klein High School
  • John Cooper School
  • Magnolia High School
  • The Woodlands High School
  • Tomball High School
