MAGNOLIA, TX -- It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Dolly Gullo on July 14, 2025, at the age of 94. Dolly was the devoted wife of Tony Gullo Sr., with whom she shared 71 beautiful years of marriage.

A proud graduate and Valedictorian of Magnolia High School’s Class of 1948, Dolly dedicated her life to education. She was among the first teachers at Magnolia’s original elementary school when it opened in 1972 — a testament to her lifelong commitment to learning and service.

Dolly and Mr. Gullo raised a loving family of five children. She was a proud grandmother to ten grandchildren and a great-grandmother to twenty. Her life revolved around faith, family, education, and community — and she poured her heart into each one.

A spirited tennis player, Dolly and her husband shared their passion for the sport with their community by donating the Gullo Family Tennis Center at Unity Park in 2014. Together, they generously supported numerous charities, churches, and schools throughout Magnolia and Montgomery County.

Her legacy of love, generosity, and service will live on through the many lives she touched. Dolly’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to:
Gullo Christmas for Kids at gullochristmasforkids.org
or
Foster’s Home for Children, 1779 N. Graham St., Stephenville, TX 76401.
