THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On Tuesday, July 23, prepare for a rock experience like no other as the Houston Symphony joins forces with the hard-hitting musicians of Windborne Music to present The Music of Led Zeppelin at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This event, sponsored by Huntsman, reimagines one of rock’s most iconic musical catalogs with the full force of a symphony orchestra behind it.

Picture the thunderous riffs of “Whole Lotta Love,” the soaring vocals of “Immigrant Song” and the unforgettable rise of “Stairway to Heaven” all backed by sweeping symphonic swells and massive orchestral overtures. With explosive energy and jaw-dropping musical power, this concert takes the legendary sound of Led Zeppelin to a whole new level.

Vocalist Randy Jackson, lead singer of the rock band Zebra, joins the orchestra and band to deliver a note-for-note tribute to Zeppelin’s greatest hits. Known for his electric stage presence and powerhouse vocals, Jackson channels the spirit of Robert Plant while bringing his own fire to the performance. Conductor and arranger Brent Havens leads the ensemble, blending classical and rock traditions into a sound that is both familiar and completely reimagined.

“This isn’t just a concert, it’s an experience,” said Jackson. “You’ll hear Zeppelin the way you know and love it but with the added richness and scale that only a live orchestra can deliver.”

The Music of Led Zeppelin is part of Windborne Music’s renowned series of symphonic rock collaborations known for bridging genres and delivering unforgettable live experiences. In a fun twist, one lucky audience member will be selected during the show to step on stage and serve as a guest conductor, adding a once-in-a-lifetime moment to an already epic night.

Whether you’re a lifelong Zeppelin fan or just looking for a night of unforgettable live music under the stars, this high-octane tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time promises a show that has to be seen and heard to be believed.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic from home or their favorite restaurant to enjoy in their seat or on the hill. Keep in mind that beverages cannot be brought into The Pavilion and picnics must also comply with The Pavilion’s bag size restriction and/or be in original packaging.
