The Woodlands Art League Hosts an Exhibit and Juried Show

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Art League (TWAL), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to promoting and supporting visual arts through education, instruction, exhibitions, and community involvement, is pleased to announce its 2025 Art Exhibit and Juried Show, a competition open to all artists across Texas.
In alignment with the rigorous standards of the Lone Star Art Guild (LSAG), this event presents a prestigious platform for artistic recognition. Winning entries will have the honor of advancing to the LSAG 2026 Annual Juried Show—a testament to artistry and passion.

Event Schedule & Venue

• Art Intake: Friday, October 10, 2025
• Public Exhibition: Saturday, October 11 (2pm-6pm), Sunday, October 12th (11am-4pm)
• Venue: Sam Houston State University – The Woodlands Center (3380 College Park Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77384)
• Awards Ceremony: Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 PM
• Art Sales: All works exhibited will be available for purchase throughout the weekend

Distinguished Judge

TWAL is honored to welcome Lee Jamison as our esteemed judge. An acclaimed East Texas artist, muralist, author, and illustrator, Mr. Jamison’s celebrated career includes creating murals for University of Texas, Baylor University, the Driskill Hotel, and the Waco Mammoth Site. His work also graces private collections nationwide and appears in several illustrated books.
