Emergency Responders Respond to Auto vs. E-Bike Collision at Branch Crossing and Research Forest
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 8:35 a.m. on Tuesday, emergency units from The Woodlands Fire Department (Truck 104), Montgomery County Hospital District, and Magnolia Fire Department (Engine 186) were dispatched to the scene of a collision involving a vehicle and an electric bicycle at the intersection of Branch Crossing and Research Forest Drive.
Upon arrival, responders located a male teen who had been riding the e-bike. The teen, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The driver of the vehicle involved was uninjured.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
