THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 12:20 PM on Tuesday afternoon, multiple emergency agencies responded to a truck rollover on the northbound main lanes of I-45 near David Vetter Blvd.

The Woodlands Fire Department’s Engine 101 was first on the scene and reported that a tree service truck had overturned. Both occupants were able to self-extricate from the vehicle. Montgomery County Hospital District medics evaluated the individuals and transported one occupant for further medical assessment.

The truck was carrying a full load of cut logs and wood chips, much of which spilled across multiple lanes of traffic during the rollover. Law enforcement immediately shut down northbound I-45 and diverted vehicles onto the frontage road to ensure safety and allow crews to clear the roadway.

Thanks to a coordinated effort by firefighters, the City of Shenandoah Public Works, and Milstead Towing, the debris was removed and traffic lanes reopened shortly after 2:00 PM.

Agencies assisting in the response included The Woodlands Fire Department, South Montgomery County Fire Department, Montgomery County Hospital District, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Shenandoah Police Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
