Cinco de Mayo DWI Taskforce Keeps Montgomery County Roads Safe

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The 2025 Cinco de Mayo DWI No Refusal Taskforce played a critical role in enhancing public safety across Montgomery County by targeting and removing impaired drivers from the roadways. The initiative focused on individuals operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Thanks to a strong spirit of collaboration and interagency cooperation, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCTXSheriff) reports the successful deployment of 60 officers and deputies representing 17 different law enforcement agencies from across the region. Notably, officers from both Humble Police Department and Houston Police Department joined the county-wide effort.
