Dosey Doe announces death of founder

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Woodlands Online can confirm that Steven Said, the owner and founder of the Dosey Doe fleet of establishments — including the Breakfast Bar, the Breakfast, BBQ & Whiskey Bar, and the Big Barn — has passed away.

The announcement comes on the heels of the sudden closing of the Breakfast, BBQ & Whiskey Bar at 2626 Research Forest yesterday.

According to an official statement released on the Dosey Doe social media:

The Dosey Doe family is extremely sad to announce that Steve Said, owner of Dosey Doe in The Woodlands, Texas died September 28th at the age of 72.

The family asks for privacy during this time giving them an opportunity to grieve his loss.

Dosey Doe will continue to operate.

Funeral arrangements will be communicated at a later date.
