Montgomery County Deputies Seize 33 Pounds of Cocaine During Traffic Stop on I-45 South

CONROE, TX -- On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office conducted a routine traffic stop in the 17000 block of Interstate 45 South. During this stop, deputies discovered a large quantity of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle.

The occupants were found to be in possession of 33 pounds of cocaine and were subsequently charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance - Penalty Group 1, over 400 grams.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office expresses its sincere appreciation to the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office and K-9 Rambo for their invaluable support in this investigation and their role in locating the contraband.

The investigation is still active and ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
