THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “Kind words do not cost much. But they accomplish much.” — Blaise Pascal
Believe it or not, the weather gods may have finally gotten the word that we’re weeks into autumn, and the outdoors might finally reflect the season with lower temperatures, cloudier skies, brisker winds, and heavy rain. But whether it’s storming or sunny, The Woodlands has some amazing events just for you. Here’s a sampling.
Monday, October 13
It’s Columbus Day; a federal holiday that leaves banks, schools, and half the businesses closed and the other half operating as best as possible. Woodlands Sportsplex is helping parents to navigate the confusing sorta-holiday by hosting a Columbus Day Open Gym for kiddos aged 5 - 12, only $20 a child. From 12 - 3 pm, you can drop the little loved ones off and get some business conducted with a clear conscience. Enrollment is quick and easy.
