Fall Fun Is In The Air in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As autumn leaves begin to fall and a playful chill fills the air, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department has a spectacular lineup of Halloween and fall-themed events for all ages.
October 2025 is packed with opportunities for spooktacular memories!
Featured Events
- Tandem Trick-or-Treat
Set out for a Halloween adventure on the water with Tandem Trick-or-Treat, taking place October 17, 18, 24, 25 and 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Riva Row Boat House, 2101 Riva Row. Participants will paddle tandem kayaks along The Woodlands Waterway and Lake Woodlands, stopping at docks where costumed characters will be handing out treats. Costumes are strongly encouraged and pre-registration is required.
- Treetop Terror
Those looking for a thrill can test their courage at Treetop Terror, held October 17 and 24 at Texas TreeVentures beginning at 7 p.m. Climbers will brave the night on illuminated rope courses and zip lines in a haunted, high-flying atmosphere.
- Spooky Bingo Breakfast
Join us for a spooktacular morning at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center on Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to noon for our Spooky Bingo Breakfast! Enjoy delicious donuts, fresh fruit and Halloween-themed bingo. Wear your costume and don’t miss the costume contest for a chance to win fun prizes.
- Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree
On October 18 from 2 to 4 p.m., families are invited to the Rob Fleming Recreation Center for the Jack-O-Lantern Jamboree. Participants can enjoy a fun and mess-free pumpkin carving experience. Pumpkins and tools are provided, and guests take their creations home.
- Spooktacular Costume Party
The Rob Fleming Recreation Center will host the Spooktacular Costume Party from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 18. Families are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes and dance the night away to Halloween-themed music.
- Flashlight Candy Hunts
The fun continues with three Flashlight Candy Hunts: October 21, 23 and 29 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center and Terramont Park. Participants should bring a flashlight and treat bag to search for hidden candy—and a few surprise prizes.
- Trick or Treat Trail (Featuring Monster Mash)
Wrap up the Halloween season at the Trick or Treat Trail on October 26 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center Outdoor Campus. This family-friendly festival features trick-or-treating from booth to booth, carnival games, strolling entertainers, costume contests, photo stations and local food trucks.
