ROAD TRIP: The Light Park in Spring opens today
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Light Park – the electrifying, drive-through holiday light adventure returning to the area with millions of lights synchronized to festive music, magical tunnels, themed nights, giveaways, and seasonal treats – is getting an early start to the holiday season by opening this evening.
From now through January 4, the mile-long illuminated journey of dancing lights and holiday joy will be open every night, including on holidays, bringing families, friends, and visitors together for a hassle-free, drive-through holiday spectacular that is festive, colorful, warm, and unforgettable for all ages – all from the comfort of their vehicles.
Each Park features more than one million LED animated lights and boasts the world’s largest synchronized LED light tunnel.
Though there are a few locations around the Houston area, your best and most convenient park is at the Hurricane Harbor Parking Lot at 21300 Interstate 45 North in Spring. It should be noted that no vehicles over 30 feet in length will be allowed in the park; this includes limousines, trailers, and buses. Early reservations are strongly recommended, as peak nights are expected to sell out.
Those interested in learning more or purchasing admission can visit www.thelightpark.com. Admission varies per showtime (weekdays and weekends). Guests are encouraged to bring their snacks to enjoy while in their cars, but there are ways to upgrade your experience with pre-purchased snacks and fun souvenirs to enhance the experience of The Light Park.
