The Woodlands Epilepsy Walk Raises Over $30,000 for Local Families
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Epilepsy Foundation Texas proudly announces the success of the Texas Epilepsy Walk at The Woodlands, which raised over $35,000 to support individuals and families impacted by epilepsy.
Funds from the event will directly benefit the Foundation’s camps, clinics, and mental wellness programs, providing vital care, education, and community connection for those living with epilepsy throughout Texas.
Hundreds of participants came together at Rob Fleming Park for a day filled with inspiration, unity, and hope. The event featured local sponsors, community vendors, and special guests — including local firefighters, CausePlay Superheroes, and members of the 501st Legion bringing favorite Star Wars characters to life.
A special thank-you goes to our generous sponsors: Dr. Ann K. and Jerry Snyder, UCB, Physicians Group of The Woodlands, Elevate Clinical Research, Rick Wood Family, Chris Ballew Realtor, SK Life Science, Western Midstream, Neurelis, and our Mission Market vendors.
We also received wonderful support and in-kind donations from Chick-fil-A through their Spirit Day, Cordovan Art School, “The Devoted Momma” author Tiffany Townsend, Noohra Artisan Candle Co., and UT Health Research Coordinator KESETT Study Research. And lastly, a big shoutout to our amazing volunteers from The Woodlands High School Honor Society! Their enthusiasm, kindness, and hard work helped make our event a huge success.
The Epilepsy Foundation Texas continues its mission to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies that stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. To learn more, visit www.eftx.org
