Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Apprehends Murder Suspect in Splendora

SPLENDORA, TX -- On November 12, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators, deputized as Task Force Officers with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, and Deputies under the East Command Hot Spot Unit arrested wanted fugitive Roberto Santos Portillo.

Portillo, 45, was arrested near the 14600 block of Half Circle, Splendora, TX, and was wanted on a felony warrant out of Walker County for Murder. He was taken into custody without incident and was transported to Walker County.
