Lone Star College–Montgomery Announces its 2nd Annual Community Tree Lighting Celebration
CONROE, TX -- Lone Star College–Montgomery is proud to host its second annual Community Tree Lighting event on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Led by Trustee Rebecca Broussard, this festive occasion aims to bring together the community to celebrate the holiday season with joy, warmth, and togetherness.
This year’s event will feature a variety of holiday activities, including photos with Santa, “snow” in Texas, live DJ entertainment, a family-friendly movie on the lawn, and a selection of food trucks. Attendees can also enjoy bounce houses, participate in giveaways, and enter scholarship raffles, all designed to foster community spirit and holiday cheer.
The Community Tree Lighting event is an annual tradition that began at the college in 2024. What makes this event special is not only its ability to bring the community together, but also its cheerful atmosphere that celebrates the hard work and dedication of students and their families. It is a heartfelt celebration of the holidays that makes this college a truly special place.
This event is FREE and open to the public. Join us for an evening of celebration, community connection, and festive fun as we light the community’s holiday tree and embrace the spirit of the season.
