Thanksgiving week might be starting off stormy, but once the rains blow through it’ll be a week of bright skies and crisp temperatures; autumn has finally settled in! Here are some things to enjoy this week – our special ‘Top Things to Do on Thanksgiving Thursday’ list will be out soon!

Monday, November 24
Start your Thanksgiving break with fizz, fun, and a sweet treat at Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. with their Gobble & Bubbles: Thanksgiving Break Edition – DIY Bath Bomb/Steamer event. Make three custom bath bombs or steamers — pick your scents, colors, and vibe. Only $25 per person (ages 5+), and all supplies are included. They’ll also have a small Fall/Winter Milkshake Sprinkle Bomb Bar for the little ones at only $15 per child. Perfect for a fun afternoon of creating, and celebrating the start of break!

Monday - Thursday, November 24 - 27
Kanga’s Indoor Playland is hosting a drop-off package special, where you can leave the kiddos with them for one day or two. The little ones must be aged 4 years and up and must be potty-trained. The events will include cheese pizza and tons of activities. While you can leave them there with a clear sense of comfort and safety, just know that these events aren’t licensed by the state as a childcare facility.

Woodlands Sportsplex is hosting a Gymnastics Camp today, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Only $65 per child. What a great opportunity to work on and master a new skill! For kiddos aged 5 - 12. Enrollment is quick and easy.

Tuesday, November 25
Join Painting With a Twist for a cozy knitting event as you craft your own chunky knit stocking. They provide step-by-step guidance and offer a range of yarn colors and helpful instructions suitable for all skill levels. Extra skeins can be added at an additional cost. Craftspeople aged 16 and up (with an adult) are welcome! Try something new and create your own candle before class. The studio operates on a BYOB basis, so feel free to bring your favorite snacks and beverages. Please note that you must be at least 21 years old to consume alcohol on the premises.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum Boogie Bash presents Turkey Trot. They are celebrating Thanksgiving with fun songs, fingerplays, and creative movement, including the “Turkey Tango” and “Turkey Pokey.” Included in the price of admission, which is $9 for adults and children 1 year and older.

Blue Lion is starting its Open Jam Wednesdays hosted by JP Lee and a special guest each week. The open jam is open to any musicians that want to play. Blue Lion provides a PA, mics, and a house electronic drum kit. Please bring any instruments, mics, cables, amps, and stands you would like to use in case we do not have enough on site. Open Jam starts at 6 p.m. Tonight’s special guest is XOE Miles.

In Precision Camera’s Gimbal Beginners class, you will explore the fundamental principles of gimbals; learning how to achieve stable, smooth camera movements for video production. Through hands-on practice and demonstrations, attendees will gain essential skills to enhance their cinematography and maximize the capabilities of their gimbal equipment.

Bella Pointe Academy Presents "A Taste of Nutcracker" – A Sugar Plum Fairy-VIP Experience. In celebration of the opening of their ballet school, they are happy to present this free in-studio event for the children in our community. Children will get to enjoy nutcracker dances and a very special performance of their Sugar Plum Fairy (guest artist from Tulsa Ballet II & co-founder of Bella Pointe Academy). Not only will you get to watch her dance, but you will have VIP experience at no cost! Meet, speak, and take pictures with her, and take home a Nutcracker goody bag.
