Rotary Club of The Woodlands honors Dr. Ann Snyder at Legends Gala

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The annual Legends Gala, one of the major fundraising events for the Rotary Club of The Woodlands, recently took place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott and honored Dr. Ann Snyder for her extraordinary commitment to service, leadership, and community transformation.

A proud Rotarian, Dr. Snyder has served as president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands, Chairwoman of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, and chairwoman of The Woodlands Township Board of Directors.

The gala was presented by Tricia & Jack Fuller and featured speeches by community luminaries such as Nelda Blair, Debra Sukin, Jim Carman, Bruce Tough, Kevin Brady, and Peter Huntsman. Congressman Dan Crenshaw presented Dr. Snyder with a proclamation commemorating her long years of service.

Funds raised at the gala went to Rotary House, a welcoming home-away-from-home for patients and families who must travel far from home to The Woodlands for medical care. The goal was to reach $100,000; while the total amounts are still being added up, the winning items of the live auction – courtesy of donors such as George Lake, Steve and Judy Olson, Bryan Pannell, John Robichau, and Steve Bishop – seem to make that goal a reality.
