3 Arrested on Narcotics and Fraud Charges Following Suspicious Vehicle Investigation
SPRING, TX -- On March 3, 2026, at approximately 9:50 PM, a Montgomery County Precinct 3 Patrol Deputy observed a suspicious vehicle pulling into the parking lot of a closed business in the 2400 block of Rayford Road in Spring, Texas. The deputy approached the vehicle after noticing multiple individuals parked near a dumpster on the property. During the encounter, the deputy observed behavior consistent with individuals being under the influence of narcotics. The subjects were detained for safety while an investigation was conducted. One of the individuals, Mason Lee Pittman, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed multiple substances consistent with illegal narcotics, including Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Xanax, Marijuana, and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Deputies also located identification, credit cards, and personal documents belonging to an elderly individual who was not present and had no confirmed association with the detained subjects.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested:
Mason Lee Pittman, of Navasota
Norman Segura, of Spring (Harris County)
Cloe Denise Fields, of Spring (Harris County)
All three were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Identifying Information of an Elderly Individual (65 years of age or older). Additional charges may be pending as the investigation continues. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and all individuals were transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where they remain in custody.
