Easter Services in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX – There are approximately five dozen churches and other houses of worship throughout The Woodlands area, covering most religions and denominations. For this Christian Holy Week, there are plenty of locations to celebrate or commemorate Easter. Here are a few to consider if you’re looking for a new house of worship.

Maundy Thursday, April 2

Christ Church Methodist
Following the Maundy Thursday service at 7:00 p.m., the church moves into the quiet hours before the cross. You are invited to move prayerfully through Four Stations, reflecting on the moments leading to Jesus’ arrest. Move slowly and quietly. Sit when needed. Allow the scriptures and prayers to guide you. The prayer journey typically takes about one hour, but you may remain longer in prayer if you wish.

The Woodlands Methodist Church
A service remembering the last supper Jesus shared with His disciples. 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Holy Communion will be served. Live Streaming available.

Good Friday, April 3

Woodlands Church

Holy Saturday, April 4

Holy Saturday Prayer Walk – Join for a time of worship, followed by a brief devotional. All are welcome to walk the campus and pray for church ministries

Easter Sunday, April 5

The Woodlands Methodist Church

• Sunrise Service – Celebrate the joy of Easter morning with a moving sunrise service at Ed Robb Plaza; bring your own chair

• Modern Worship – Celebrate the hope of Easter with energetic music and relevant teaching about Christ and the culture for those who desire a less traditional setting

• Traditional Worship – An inspirational Easter message and a formal order of worship with traditional Easter hymns led by a full choir and orchestra

Christ Church Methodist
They are offering three worship services to celebrate Easter: 6:30 a.m. in the Courtyard for a beautiful sunrise service; and 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary.

The Ridge Community Church
Celebrate Resurrection Sunday with us this Easter! Service times 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
