A Fresh Look Ahead: Truluck’s Unveils Plans for Renovations at The Woodlands Location

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood and Crab, one of The Woodlands’ premier destinations for fresh seafood and impeccable service, will begin a renovation this spring as it celebrates ten years in the community. The transformation will include a major facelift of the main dining room, expansive bar area, and private dining accommodations. Truluck’s is located on Hughes Landing Blvd., a premier 79-acre waterfront district along Lake Woodlands.

Truluck’s decision to renovate reflects a commitment to enhancing every aspect of the guest experience from the moment diners walk through the door. The refreshed design will take inspiration from Truluck’s Houston and Plano locations, blending modern sophistication and timeless elegance. The renovation includes new flooring, tables, chandeliers, chairs and drapery, refreshing the restaurant’s refined atmosphere and creating an elevated backdrop to create unforgettable memoires and special occasion celebrations.

During the renovation, Truluck’s will close the main dining room and bar temporarily to ensure a swift construction phase, dates are April 2 – 22, 2026.

Truluck’s in The Woodlands has been a local favorite for special occasion dining for nearly ten years, priding itself on high-quality seafood, prime steaks and exceptional service. Truluck’s first restaurant location opened in Houston in 1992 and now operates 12 locations across the country. Truluck’s helped introduce Florida stone crab to Houstonians, quickly becoming a staple in the community.
