THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services invites residents to Shred Day! This event offers a convenient way to safely dispose of sensitive documents while helping protect your personal information and prevent identity theft.

Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park
6464 Creekside Forest Drive

8 a.m. to noon

Shred Day is part of the Township’s ongoing efforts to help prevent crime and protect personal information. This shredding event provides residents with a safe and easy way to dispose of sensitive documents, including bank statements, medical records, credit card offers and old tax forms. By properly destroying documents that contain personal information, residents can significantly reduce their risk of identity theft and fraud.

In addition to protecting personal information, shredding unwanted paperwork helps reduce household clutter and minimizes potential fire hazards caused by storing excessive paper documents. The contactless format allows participants to remain in their vehicles while personnel collect and shred documents on site.

The Woodlands Township remains committed to proactive crime prevention initiatives and encourages residents to take advantage of this important community service. For more information about this event and other crime prevention programs, please contact The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services at 281-210-3882 or email Neighbor@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov.

A donation of five non-perishable food items or $5 per box will benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands Food Pantry.

Wrap up your spring cleaning with peace of mind by taking advantage of this secure and convenient service. Shred Day is a simple way to protect your identity, support a local cause and keep your home organized—all in one stop. Gather your documents, invite a neighbor and make plans to participate in this helpful community event.
