Save the Date: MoriCon is returning to The Woodlands this autumn
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The MoriCon Mini Anime Convention is returning to The Woodlands this autumn, and event organizers want you to mark your calendars today. This one-day anime and pop culture event celebrating anime, cosplay, gaming, and Japanese culture with panels, workshops, vendor displays, and more is perfect for fans of all ages to connect and have fun in a friendly community atmosphere.
The convention will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Rob Fleming Rec Center in the Creekside Park Village of The Woodlands. MoriCon is billed as the perfect way to dive into the world of anime, cosplay and creativity.
“Immerse yourself in the enchanting Cerulean Forest as we bring anime lovers, cosplayers, artists, and creators together for an unforgettable family-friendly event. Whether you’re a seasoned fan or a newcomer, you can explore the diverse world of anime and connect with others who share the passion. From cosplay contests to educational panels and workshops, MoriCon serves as a fantastic event to introduce the local community to a fascinating world,” said organizers in a statement.
Tickets are now available to purchase online. For adults 18 and up, tickets are $15 plus fees, and are expected to go up in price soon. The at-door rate will be $20. For patrons aged 8 - 17, tickets are currently $10 plus fees with a $15 at-door rate. Children 7 and under are free but still require ticket confirmation to enter.
