Splish Splash – The Woodlands Township offers summer season passes for 14 area pools

THE WOODLANDS, TX – More than a dozen swimming pools inhab The Woodlands Township, ranging from simple wading pools to full-fledged water amusement parks the offer daily swimming as well as special themed events.

The Woodlands Township Parks & Recreation Department is offering season passes to residents and non-residents alike. A purchaser can enjoy the benefits of fourteen different pools with one pass lasting through the rest of the calendar year.

Beyond enjoying pools at village parks and the extravagant Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, season ticket holders can enjoy wave-worthy events such as Sweet & Sour Summer, Pop at the Pool and Red, Hot & Pool, which are included in the purchase of pass memberships with no additional fees.

For residents, passes cost $45 for swimmers aged between 3 and 64; kids 2 and under can get passes for $8 each, and seniors aged 65 and up can grab theirs for only $20. Families that have purchased four season tickets at full price can enjoy additional family passes for only $20 each.

For those unlucky enough to live outside the Township borders, passes are $150 each. There is no discount for seniors or additional family members; the only discount is a pass for $30 for kids aged 2 and under.

With pool pass sales underway now, Township personnel make it easy to grab yours. You can register for a season pass online at anc.apm.activecommunities.com/wcscparksandrec/home. During operating hours, you can also register in person or over the telephone at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park (281-210-3950) or The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park (281-516-7348).
