Soccer Shuttle Service
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Match-day just got a whole lot easier, and a lot more fun! The Woodlands Township, in partnership with Visit The Woodlands, First Class Transportation and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC), is offering the Soccer Shuttle, a dedicated transportation service connecting The Woodlands to Houston Stadium (NRG) for FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches.
Designed to provide a convenient and stress-free travel option for both residents and visitors, the Soccer Shuttle will operate on all Houston match days, offering round-trip service from The Woodlands directly to the stadium.
The Soccer Shuttle is available exclusively to individuals with a valid FIFA World Cup 2026™ match ticket. A shuttle reservation is required in advance and riders must present proof of their game-day ticket to board. Walk-up passengers and standard Express bus tickets will not be accepted.
Reservations for the Soccer Shuttle are free, thanks to funding provided by the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) through its Commute Solutions initiative. Please note, a non-refundable administrative fee of $8.50, plus applicable processing fees, will apply at the time of booking. Reservations will be available beginning May 1, 2026.
Passengers may choose from three convenient departure locations in The Woodlands:
- The Woodlands Resort, 2301 N. Millbend Drive
- Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands at Hughes Landing, 1855 Hughes Landing Boulevard
- Sawdust Park and Ride, 701 Westridge Drive
Parking options at each location vary. Visit woodlandstransit.com/soccershuttle for additional parking information.
At check-in, riders will receive a color-coded wristband corresponding to their selected departure location, which must be worn at all times and presented for both departure and return trips.
Shuttle departure times are selected during the reservation process and are scheduled to align with match times. Return service from the stadium will begin immediately following each match, with buses departing as they fill and all shuttles leaving within one hour after the game concludes.
The Houston match schedule includes:
