Swim Up Soccer Summer at Margaritaville Lake Resort
MONTGOMERY, TX -- As the world’s biggest soccer tournament arrives in Houston, Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston is pulling out all the stops for “Swim-Up Soccer Summer,” featuring live music, events, and a globally inspired food and drink menu that brings the energy of the matches to the shores of Lake Conroe.
At the center of the festivities is a giant 6’ x 10’ digital screen at the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Pool, where fans can trade the couch for a pool float and catch every match, cheering for their favorite team with a margarita in hand.
The resort’s culinary team has also created limited-time dishes inspired by competing nations, each featured at a different resort restaurant:

License to Chill Bar & Café — France Chicken Coq au Vin — Tender chicken slowly braised in a rich red wine sauce with aromatic herbs and savory vegetables, served alongside roasted tri-color carrots and buttery petite potatoes. $33

To top it all off, the resort is debuting the GOAL-A-Rita, a tournament-inspired margarita crafted with CASAMIGOS Tequila, available throughout the resort for $14.
The tournament excitement in Houston kicks off this Sunday, June. 14. Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston offers fans a smart, stress-free home base for the entire tournament. For fans who wish to catch a match in person, the resort is partnering with the City of Conroe to offer convenient shuttle transportation from the Conroe Park-N-Ride to Houston Stadium and the Fan Festival for $16, $10 for kids under 18, and free for those 10 and younger.
After the game is over, guests can return to the resort where they can enjoy access to the many amenities, including the 3.5-acre Jolly Mon Water Park, pickleball and tennis courts, the St. Somewhere Spa, an 18-hole signature golf course, and six onsite restaurants and bars.
