SPRING, TX -- On August 18, 2026, the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force responded to a report of a stolen 2017 Toyota Tacoma from the HEB located near the 3500 block of Rayford Road.

Upon reviewing security camera footage provided by HEB, investigators successfully identified a suspect vehicle, described as a black Cadillac CT5. The identification of this vehicle led investigators to two primary suspects, 29-year-old Josue Zamarron and 26-year-old Alberth Mosquera, both from Houston, TX.

Through a coordinated effort involving the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Houston Police Department Auto Theft Task Force, the stolen 2017 Toyota Tacoma was located and successfully recovered in Houston.

Both Zamarron and Mosquera were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where they were booked on the charges of Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Criminal Instruments. Additionally, Josue Zamarron had an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a separate incident involving a stolen Toyota Tacoma on Monday, August 10, 2026.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office extends its gratitude to the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Houston Police Department Auto Theft Task Force for their vital assistance in this investigation.
