At just 18 years old, Carlton Woods resident Neftali Cruz is taking an early step into civic leadership—and working to encourage other young people to do the same.
Cruz serves as **Montgomery County’s youngest elected Republican Precinct Chair**, representing Precinct 78, which includes Carlton Woods and Sterling Ridge and more than **5,000 registered voters**. His role places him directly in the community he calls home, where he works to encourage civic participation and stay connected with local residents.
His involvement in public service began at a young age and has continued to grow through leadership opportunities, civic events, and youth outreach. Cruz currently serves as **Vice President of the Montgomery County Young Republicans and Chair of its Youth Outreach Committee**, where he works to encourage greater participation from the next generation.
