Conroe Police Arrest Houston Man After Vehicle Burglary Investigation at Riverwalk Apartments

CONROE, TX -- In the early morning hours of September 9, Conroe Police officers responded to a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress at the Riverwalk Apartments. Witnesses reported seeing a male breaking into vehicles and provided officers with a description of a black sedan believed to be involved.

As officers arrived, they spotted the suspect vehicle leaving the apartment complex and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Keion Randle, 28, from Houston. During the investigation, officers located multiple power tools in the back seat of the vehicle.

While officers questioned Randle, other officers checked the apartment complex and discovered three vehicles had been burglarized. One of the vehicles displayed a company name that matched the company name found on some of the power tools inside Randle’s vehicle.

Through their investigation, officers were able to connect Randle to one of the burglaries, and he ultimately admitted to breaking into the vehicle.
One of the victims was located and positively identified his stolen property inside Randle’s vehicle. The property was recovered and returned to its owner.

Randle was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. Officers also learned during the investigation that the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was investigating several other vehicle burglaries in which the same suspect vehicle was believed to have been involved.

Thanks to alert witnesses, a quick response from our officers, and solid investigative work, a suspected vehicle burglar was taken off the street and stolen property was returned to its owner.
