Lone Star College System Board of Trustees to hold special meeting Sept. 16, 2026

HOUSTON, TX -- The Lone Star College System (LSCS) Board of Trustees will hold a special board meeting at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, to announce the public hearing on the proposed tax rate. The meeting will be held at Lone Star College-University Park, Universe Room (Building 11), located at 20515 SH 249, Houston, TX 77070, and will be conducted in person and via Zoom.

Members of the public may attend in person and view/listen/provide public comment via Zoom. Online attendees must register for the special Zoom meeting by providing their name and email address. Click here to access the Zoom Meeting (Meeting ID: 857 5556 6519. Passcode: 374908).

The public may register to address the LSCS Board of Trustees online by submitting a completed registration form no later than 10:25 a.m. on the day of the special meeting.

Registrants should provide an email address when completing the participation form to receive further instructions. During the public comment session via Zoom, the host will announce and unmute participants. Individuals interested in speaking in person during the public comment period will be announced to address the board from the podium.
