LSC-University Park student-run literary arts magazine earns top national honor

The cover of “Uproar,” Lone Star College–University Park’s student-run literary arts magazine. The magazine earned REALM First Class recognition, the program’s highest distinction, in the National Council of Teachers of English’s 2025 Recognizing Excellence in Art and Literary Magazines program. Now in its 13th year, “Uproar” featured work from about 30 student contributors in its latest edition.
